Fab Find! E.L.F. 100 eyeshadow palette!

Hi Beauties!

Omg!!! I cannot find the 100 eyeshadow palette on the E.L.F. cosmetics website anymore. Though on a recent shopping spree I sprung into TK Maxx and headed right to the make up shelf!

After some time searching though the shelf's I found this beauty! I was so happy I nearly ran to the checkout to buy this for only £7.99! Such a steal!

Hope you enjoyed this short post and maybe you'll get this steal too!

Back to school!

Back to school!

Hello beauties!

Sorry I've abandoned you but I've been so busy getting ready to go back to school! I start school tomorrow so I thought I'd share with you how I am going to do my makeup. It's very natural, light and simple as my school actually has a rule 'no makeup.'

So first with my CVS foundation brush I apply Maybelline Super Stay 24hr foundation all over my face and make sure it is well blended!

Then I will take my double sided makeup pencil from ELF shown above and apply the shadow side all around my lid, and then apply the brown pencil to my tightline! This will make my lashes appear fuller and bigger.

I will then take my quad from ELF shown in the picture above and apply the lightest colour to my inner corners to wake me up and the peach colour on my lid to set the shadow pencil.

After I will quickly apply any mascara to give my lashes a tint!

I will take any angled brush, my one is from MAC and I will apply the blush from the ELF blush and bronzer compact to the apples of my cheeks!

Next I will take a rose tinted lip balm and apply it to my lips preventing it from chapping.

Hope this give you an idea for your back to school makeup!

Styling yellow shorts! 3 Outfits.

Styling yellow shorts!

Hello beauties!

I decided to do a blog post on how to style bright yellow shorts! I bought some bright yellow jean shorts in Republic for £15 last month and love trying new styles with them, they are something you can mix and match with and essential in my closet! I never thought I would like bright yellow shorts but I LOVE them! I can't explain how much of a fun trend they are to wear. They brighten up any dull outfit and give it a pop of colour.

I didn't really know how to style my shorts at first as I thought it would be hard to style yellow shorts, but it is so easy and they go with anything! Pinks, blues, creams, whites, navy, any colour!

To help you style your bright yellow shorts I created 3 outfits to sort your style out! My favourite is the middle outfit, it combines the trends, studded slip on shoes, cute collars, lace, high waisted shorts, jewelled clutches and pyramid type bracelets!

I think these outfits are so cute! I would love to see more people rocking bright yellow shorts!

My new favourite concealer.

My new favourite concealer.

Hi beauties!

I am so happy to finally say I have found the PERFECT concealer! I have been looking for a better concealer for about 2 years. In the meantime I have been wearing MAC Studio finish concealer in NW20 and I have repurchased this twice. I used to adore this concealer but soon realised it was not very creamy and did not go on my skin smoothly, it was very hard to blend which meant it was no good for my blemishes and a lot had to go onto the skin to get coverage. It seems as if when you heat it, it becomes more smooth and creamy.

Though this concealer from e.l.f. is the cover everything concealer, it is SO much cheaper and SO much better! I found this a complete miracle to have found such a cheaper, better and overall amazing concealer!

It is so creamy and smooth and the perfect colour to apply anywhere to my face, it is in the colour Light, though you can get it in a darker colour and a yellow.

It applies evenly to my face and covers anything I wish it too, I use it on my forehead, nose, and chin to cover  redness, and to my under eye to cover blue and purple tones. It's very blendable and you will only need a tiny bit. I think this concealer will last a long time before I have to repurchase, but I wouldn't mind buying 100 of these!

My friend always asks to borrow mine for her redness and I don't mind because this concealer is proving its point!

Products I regret buying.

products i regret buying

I am so sad to be writing this blog post as I hate having to put makeup products down. I love all the companies who make these products but sometimes the products just aren't for you. Other people might love these products but these are completely my honest opinions of them.

Okay first up, the Some kind-a gorgeous medium. £23.50.

I think the product packaging is very cute and attracts people, the way it has a mirror and a sponge for application is amazing.
But this product claims to fake as a foundation and even out your skin tone. Its very creamy and light. And once you put it on it turns powdery. Though this product does not in any way, shape or form even out my skin tone. It's simply as if you put nothing on your face, which in one way can be good, but this is bad, it doesn't do anything at all. It's as if I put water on my face and dried it with a towel.
Personally for £23.50 it is such a waste of money and is basically see-through.
Some people might love it but it wasn't my cup of tea.

Next is the e.l.f. Flawless eyeshadow palette in Golden Goddess.

I would LOVE if someone told me their opinion of these eyeshadows. This is because I was super excited to try out the new things e.l.f. had added to their UK website as it is the only place I can buy e.l.f. I decided to patch an order and try some things. This was my second e.l.f. order. So after buying this, a day later e.l.f. put up swatches of the palettes, this made me even more excited. When I got mine I tried it out on my cousin and found it extremley hard getting any colour out of the eyeshadows. The only one I got colour out of was the darkest shade which I assumed it was only because it was the darkest shade. I was so sad because I was looking forward to using this. I even tried it with primer. Maybe I just got a bad palette.

Next is 2True Cheek and Lip Tint.
This is one of the very first products I ever bought. I don't know why I keep repurchasing it because I think it is so bad for your lips and I never use it. The colour payoff is amazing but it is basically neon pink. You can't tone it down and a little of this goes a long way. No matter how much you put in its like BOOM, your a clown! Your lips are neon pink and you'd turn a few heads! I think the colours gorgeous but its just not for your lips. I think if you could tone it a little it would be amazing and a dupe to benefit posie tint. Though for a cheek tint it doesn't dry that fast and can be cold for a few minutes, you'd have to set it with some powder but it has a PERFECT amount of colour on your cheeks and basically is posie tint only cheaper!

Last is:
I would never repurchase this again because I had very high hopes for this mascara and it didn't live up to them at all! The brush was too big and I couldn't even fit it under my lashes to apply it. I could not get any product on the lashes and it was not very buildable. I have to say it gave some volume but for a high end mascara maybelinne does better and its cheaper! So overall, it didn't live up to its expectations and was hard to apply and build.

Date night

Date night

Date night by barbiesmybestie featuring a lip gloss

Hi beauties!

So whether its a date with some friends or your boyfriend I think this is THE perfect outfit!
It's so classy yet girly and will definitely make a good impression. You won't look too overdone because of your hair in a bun and your makeup very natural.

Your dress will make a statement and show off your curves whilst clinging your waist in with a brown belt. I picked this gorgeous turquoise dress to show everyone your not afraid to try bright colours though you don't overdo it with them.

The nude accessories and short bow wedges will compliment the outfit and stop it from going overboard. It will also keep it feminine.

For a more day time look simply apply studs to the ears and wear some brown or nude ballerina flats.

Hope you enjoy this outfit.
