Favorites things ATM!

faves atm

Hello everyone!

So today's post is all about my favorite things ATM! I'm going to share with you what I have been loving recently.

Clothing
So firstly is my leather jacket. The leather jacket I picked up was from Primark and it was £30, so cheap for a leather jacket! Surprisingly it ended up suiting me and I can wear it with any of my outfits. So if you haven't got a leather jacket I recommend getting one as it's a staple in my wardrobe now!

Brushes
Next is my ELF Studio Powder Brush. I love this brush and it is an essential in my makeup kit. I literally couldn't apply my foundation without it. It makes foundation application and blending so much easier, I'm seriously so glad I purchased it.

I have been loving the MAC 217 brush lately, I've been wanting this for like 2 years now and I finally got it for Christmas as I always talked myself out of buying it, but I'm so glad I got it because now I don't dread having to blend my eye shadow out.

Perfume

Omg so I got the Someday perfume by Justin Bieber for Christmas and I have fell in love, all my clothes and school uniform now smell of this scent, it's just the perfect sweet scent. I have nearly finished the bottle already in one month but I will be repurchasing

Makeup

My favourite eyeliner this month has been Soap and Glory's waterproof kohl eyeliner. Its a really intense black which I love and always look for when buying eyeliner, its very smooth and glides on perfectly to your eyes. I do my friends makeup often and she always asks me to use this eyeliner on her. Its a dupe for the Urban decay eyeliners that I love too, and its just a plus its waterproof!

Maybelline's Colour Tattoo Cream Eye shadow in Pink Gold is the most gorgeous pop of colour that you could ever put on your eyes! It is just so creamy, lasts for ages, gives you a princess touch to your makeup and brightens your eyes. I fell in love with this eyeshadow the minute I saw it in Boots!

MAC's All that glitters eye shadow is becoming a must for me lately, it just gives me a lovely ivory glow on my lids and works really well with tease from the Naked 2 Urban Decay palette. I love it and use it everyday!

Hair

Tresemme's Extra Hold Hairspray - This has been my lifesaver recently, it is lasting me such a long time and you get so much product in it! This is a plus for me as I always curl my hair. I love this hairspray as it can make my curls last up to 3 days! I love it!

That's my favorites, thanks for reading,
Tamii x

♥ Perfect Valentines Day Red Lips ♥

red lips

Hey everyone!

So Valentines Day is coming up and who doesn't wanna put on their red lipstick for this special holiday?
I am going to tell you how to get the perfect red lips for this day.

First you wanna make sure your lips aren't dry or flaky. So exfoliate first and apply some lip balm. I use LUSH Sugar Scrub in Bubblegum to exfoliate and then apply any lip balm to moisturize my lips. This will give the lipstick a good base and make sure it has no fine lines to settle into.

Next you want to pick a red lip liner that will compliment the color of your lipstick. Start by applying this around your lips and then fill in your lips with it to help your lipstick stick to it and last longer.

After this grab a thin lip brush and brush it over your lipstick to pick up the product. Fill in your lips with the brush to avoid a messy application with this lipstick.

After this apply some lip gloss, blot your lips and go!

Review.

Review.

Hey beauties!
Review timeeee!

So today I'll be reviewing the Revlon PhotoReady foundation, may people may be familiar with this but if you're not then keep reading!

So first the packaging, well one thing I like about it is the pump, I love foundations with this feature as it makes application much easier.

Now the formula, this foundation seemed to be abit watery for me and very runny when it came to application. I do not at all recommend it for oily skin as it will highlight oil and shine. And also if you have spots it won't do them any good.

But the biggest downfall with this foundation is the amount of SPF in it, it will make you look as white as a ghost in photos even without the flash. This completely defeats the purpose of this foundation all in all.

positive thing is the coverage, it can be buildable. And it doesn't work for oily skin like I said however it is lovely on dry skin and brightens it.

All in all I was not at all pleased with this foundation and won't repurchase it.

Bye,
Tamii x

I HEART FALL TAG!

I <3 fall tag!

Question #1: What is your favorite fall lip product?

My favorite fall lip product are both my 'Essential E.L.F Lipstick' in Gypsy and my 'Urban Decay Lip Junkie' in Naked which I apply both over one another.

Question #2: What is your favorite fall nail polish?

Like I have said before my favorite nail polish is most definitely 'Turning heads red' by Essie! Check out my post about this nail polish to find out my thoughts on it and also a mini review.

Question #3: What is your favorite fall starbucks drink?

I LOVE Starbucks and I will stick to my traditional drink Caramel Hot Chocolate! Oh I would love one right now. I
get it everytime I go to starbucks no doubt and I still LOVE it!

Question #4: What is your favorite fall candle?

I don't really buy candles except in fall time, so for this time of year I have to have a cinnamon smell lingering as it gets me in the mood for fall! I love Yankee Candles.

Question #5: What is your favorite fall scarf/accessory?

Mine is my favourite fall scarf from Jack wills! Its so long and cosy and omg I just love it!

Question #6: Which would you rather: Haunted house, haunted hay-ride or haunted corn field?

None!:( I got on the ghost train in Funderland if that counts? Hahahaha! I hate scary stuff!

Question #7: Favorite Halloween movie?

Omg I have one but I can't remember the name! Its about these witchs and a little girl and a teen boy. OH YES HOCUS POCUS! I can just about watch that, but not on my own even though its a kids movie LOL!

Question #8: Favorite Halloween candy?

MALTESERS! I always go for them at Halloween but since this asks for 'candy' I'd say these yummy 'Halloween Lollies' as they all them in my area. Everyone goes nuts to buy them and every shop has them but only at Halloween of course. They turn your tongue blue/green and they're so tasty! I don't know about other places in the world or outsite of my area though. I can't find a picture as they don't exist outside of where I live sorry :(

Question #9: What is your halloween costume this year?

QUEEN OF HEARTS ZOMBIE! Haha I bought it at random as I usually opt for a really girly suggestion but I don't know what happened this year.
I'm going to wear black bow tights with this and black kitten heels.

Question #10: What is your favorite thing about fall?

My favourite thing about fall is the cosy pjs and my electric blanket warming me up as the fire burns away. I love warm cups of tea and hot chocolate and cuddling with my puppy dog ruby! I also love the coldness, I don't know why but I love the feeling of being cold and wanting to be all cosy! I love spending time with my family and going for meals at this time!

DIY Ballerina-Halloween

DIY Ballerina-Halloween

Hello beauties!

Long time no see once again! But now the wonderful mid term has stuck me and I am school free!

Speaking of school, one of my subjects is 'Dance.' In this subject we do lots of contemporary dance, which can be a mixture of ballet and modern technique. This is what inspired me to do a post about how to make your own DIY ballerina costume for Halloween.

You'll need:

  • A white tank top. (easy, every girl has one.)
  • A pink or white or even peach tutu. (Every halloween store has these for about £5. But if you have a little sister steal her one from playing dress up lol.)
  • Pink ribbon. (Any craft supply store or dress making shop has this)
  • Tape. Possibly clear.
  • White, pink or tan tights.
  • White, pink, peach, cream or nude flat shoes.

Once you have that you can start making your costume.

Put your tan tights and shoes on. You want cut to equal length pieces of ribbon and tape them to either side of both shoes. One your done criss cross the ribbon all the way up to your mid calf or knee and tie it in a bow. Then put the tutu and tank top on and tuck the tank top into the tutu, If you have any ribbon left you could tie it at the waist in a bow. Then you want to put your hair up in a bun and tie a ribbon around the bun in a bow. Or keep it plain if this is too much.

As for makeup and nails.

  • Paint your nails a sheer baby pink.
  • Put on a pale or of right skintone foundation.
  • Apply a baby pink blush to the apples of the cheeks.
  • Smear some baby pink lip gloss/stick on.
  • Get a peach/white eyeliner and apply to the waterline for an illusion of doll eyes.
  • Apply 2 coats of brown mascara.
And your DONE!

Thanks for reading, until next time,

Tamii xx

Turning heads RED!

Turning heads RED!

Hello beauties!

I'm so sorry I have abandoned this blog. School is so over powering and stressful, I need to make more time for this though! I thought to start us of on the right foot for fall I'd share a favourite of mine.

My new go-to nailpolish is Essie's 'Turning heads red' and I LOVE this nailpolish. I know they discontinued it though, but you can get it for £8 in TKMAXX along with Essie's Tangerine and Imported Champagne, all in a packed trio for £8, which is incredible because here in N.I. it costs £8 for one of these nail polishes.

I love wearing this nailpolish as it just gives a vibrant instant pop to my pale skin, if that makes sense. It also reminds me of christmas! I'm currently wearing this colour right now and I love looking at my nails. Even without a top coat this is very shiny and has not smudged or chipped overnight!

I just thought this would be a good product to share!

Thank you, Tamii x
